now, saya nak perkenalan tempat asal saya...ipoh..ape yg ada..mungkin orang luar x taw sgt kwsn ipoh ni..so saya tnjukkn..ni atas permintaan kawan saya sebab die xtaw ape yg ade kt ipoh yg boleh jalan2...

WELCOME TO IPOH..

saje je tunjuk papan ipoh ni..sebab nk cte tempat kat ipoh kn..hehe

Lost World of Tambun

It is no doubt that Lost World of Tambun has emerged to be a new tourist attraction in Ipoh. This is the first water theme park in Ipoh.
If you have never been to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park in KL before, you certainly should try out Lost World of Tambun; if you have been to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park in KL before, how could you give up the chance to another Sunway Lagoon "branch" with a different theme?

Different from Sunway lagoon theme park in KL, which located between concrete buildings, Lost World of Tambun is hidden amongst the lush greenery of Tambun, surrounding by limestone cliffs. And now, the Lost World - a whole new adventure is just waiting to be explored by YOU! Before my family shifted, our house used to be just 5 minutes away from Lost World of Tambun, we witnessed it to be built from nothing to this large playground? I'm very excited about it since it's one of the few water theme parks available throughout Malaysia.
OK, don't want to waste your time, I'm going to let you know about what's the FUN FACTOR of the Lost World of Tambun water theme park.

Let's get yourself wet!

You can go for the "cliff racer" and "tube raiders" to enjoy your wet adventure. The "cliff racer" provides you the exciting thrill when you slide straight down the speed coaster at top speed. And for "tube raiders", when you wind your way down on the big tube, you will enjoy the speed and whizzing.
You're not going for speed? Then how about floating gently along the Asia's longest man-made river ride? And surprised by the wave when you trying to enjoy ancient ruins and spraying water features by the riverside?
Oh yea, there's another wave pool called Jungle Wave Bay, which suits everyone's need for relax and fun.

Get yourself hot and wet!

What means by hot and wet? That means --- Hot Spring! Hehe.
Before "Lost World of Tambun" is built, there was a Tambun Hot Spring not far away. Now, they just make it easy for us, you can just dip yourself in this natural spring-fed pool.

Get yourself OUT of wet?!

Don't want to get wet? (which is quite a ridiculous excuse when you decided to come to this WATER theme park, hehe) Or, enough of getting wet? You can enjoy yourself too with the "dragons flight" and "stormrider".
"Dragon flight" is a thrilling swing chair ride. Hmmm... Maybe you can spin yourself dry?
"Stormrider" is another fast and furious swing ride on ship. Beware of getting seasick! Hehe.

For you, Kids!

For dry adventure, kids can enjoy the good old-fashioned horse ride - "Perak Parade". How about a train journey with "adventure express"? It will take you to past majestic ruins, surging water and wild tigers!
For wet adventure, there's "explorabay" - the kids only zone. It's special designed for kids, which equipped with smaller slides, large interactive play area with tipping mine buckets, water cannons, spraying elephants, water curtains and fountains.

Special Attraction!!!

Ever wonder to see tigers at a water theme park? Anyway, you can see this wild animal here, at the "tiger valley" of Lost World of Tambun. In addition, there's tiger feeding show and photo session with tiger cubs!

kellie's castle,batu gajah...
 History
History told us that the construction of this mansion began in the year 1915 during the time of the British Occupation of Malaya. Malaya has since gained independance and is now known as Malaysia. The owner, William Kellie Smith was a wealthy Scottish planter who made his fortune in Malaya by helping to construct public roads in South Perak. He then purchased 960 acres of jungle land in the district of Kinta and used it to plant rubber. Rubber was one of the commodity that was in great demand a that time. He diversified his agriculture venture by going into tin mining industry. Hence he establishedhimself as the owner of Kinta Kellas Estate and the Kinta Kellas Tin Dredging Company. He probably chose the name Kellas as he was born on March 1, 1870 in Easter Kellas, Scotland.
As he prospered, he built his first house known as Kellas House in the estate in 1910 for his wife, Agnes Smith and their first child, Helen Agnes. This house and its ruin can still be seen today which is located just beside Kellie's Castle. What is left of the first house today is just the foundation and parts of the wall.
